Brush, undo and compare
Your file contents never leave your browser. The first use downloads a small helper (about 27 MB) once.
Add your photo
Drag and drop a picture or pick one from your device. Your file contents never leave your browser.
Paint over the object
Use the brush to cover what you want gone. Cover a little beyond the edge, and its shadow too.
Press Remove
The painted area is filled in to match the background around it. Paint another spot and repeat if needed.
Check and download
Hold Compare to see the original, use Undo if a step went wrong, then download the result.
How do I remove an object from a photo?
Add your photo, paint over the object with the brush and press Remove. The painted area is filled in to match what surrounds it. You can repeat for as many spots as you like.
Is the object remover free?
Yes. Free. No account, no credit card, no watermark.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
The page loads ads and visit measurement; AI tools download their models once; your file contents are not uploaded. For sensitive files use the isolated mode (/isolated).
Why does a result sometimes look odd?
It works best on backgrounds with texture such as grass, sky, walls or sand. Paint slightly beyond the object and its shadow, remove big things in several smaller strokes, and use Undo to try again.
Does it change the rest of my photo?
Only the painted area and a thin margin around it are processed. Everything else stays exactly as it was, and the download keeps your photo's own size (up to about 16 megapixels).
